Simon Church Promoted to COO Integralis AG

Theale, Reading, U.K., 1^st April 2011.  Integralis, the UK’s largest IT security solutions provider, today announced the promotion of Simon Church from UK Managing Director to Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Integralis AG.  In his new role, Simon will be responsible for the delivery of Integralis’ solution portfolio globally with an emphasis on driving Managed Security Services.  He will oversee global functions including sales, marketing, partner management and service delivery; while continuing to drive the globalisation of the company, in which NTT Communications Corporation obtained a majority shareholding 2009.

Simon joins the Management Board alongside Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Georg Magg and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Heiner Luntz.

Commenting on the appointment, Integralis’ CEO Georg Magg said: “With the consumerisation of IT and the way we use mobile devices and access, create and share information online, cyber threats have changed drastically.  Security is no longer something you add on as an afterthought.  Risks have to be assessed and managed in every setup right from the start, and security solutions have become elemental building blocks of any IT network, opening up considerable new market opportunities. Given Simon’s experience to date we feel he is well suited to drive the next stage in Integralis’ strategy.”

In his new role, Simon will draw on his past experience as Vice President of Security Services at VeriSign, where he held global responsibility for VeriSign’s Managed Security Services, Security Consulting and Threat Intelligence.  Prior to that, Simon was Vice President and General Manager, EMEA at NetIQ, and launched and successfully grew the EMEA subsidiary of Mission Critical Software. He joined Integralis from VeriSign in August 2009, bringing 21 years experience in the IT industry to the company.
