Integralis to provide missing security link

VAR claims it has found market niche with launch of data assessment service

Integralis has added to its menu of assessment services as it aims to play the middle man between technology and business management.

The firm’s Data Assessment Service aims to provide a complete overview of the data loss prevention protections currently in place, and offers suggestions regarding future security upgrades.

Garry Sidaway, who joined Integralis recently as director of security strategy, said the VAR would continue to add to its assessment portfolio as it positions itself between the Big Four auditors and traditional technology suppliers.

“You can go to the Big Four and get a business management view but they are not at the sharp end of implementing the technology,” he said. “Integralis is, and we see our strength as linking those two areas together.”

Integralis is also aligning itself more closely with its new parent, Japanese telco NTT, Sidaway added.

“We are moving towards continual service delivery, which means making sure we are integrating and architecting security into NTT’s global offerings,” he said.

Sidaway said it was too early to begin discussing how recent NTT acquisition Didata might fit in, but stressed that Integralis would continue to act as NTT’s security-focused wing.
