Integralis offers wash and wax for Comic Relief
Integralis gets into spirit of Red Nose Day Integralis raised a total of more than £1,000 for the Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day on Friday.
Integralis’ staff wore red or dressed in their pyjamas for the day (though teddy bears were optional, apparently).
The highlight of the day for many was the ‘directors’ car wash’ which proved very popular, if rather wet. Challenging the directors to swap their smartphones for sponges, they spent their lunchtime washing and waxing a long line of cars.
The fund raising culminated with the ‘men’s’ leg wax challenge’, which was undertaken by only the bravest.
“This latest charity day is just one event in a busy fundraising calendar at Integralis,” adds Lisdalia Jose, HR manager at Integralis.
“Every year our staff nominate one local and one national people-related charity to support and we aim to raise funds via activities that take place throughout the year. his year, we are also supporting Macmillan Cancer Support and Starlight Children’s Foundation, and I am delighted that we have already raised £5,600 for them with events including the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and a charity football tournament.
“On Friday April 8 we are looking forward to donating Easter Eggs to sick children at the Royal Berkshire Hospital, bought from the proceeds of a company auction of old kitchen goods and appliances. Helping our local and wider communities creates a great team spirit at Integralis and makes it fantastic place to work!”
