Integralis Attends E-Crime Cloud and Virtualisation Security Forum

Presentation on building a strong security system in a cloud computing environment to be delivered by Integralis executive at Cloud and Virtualisation event in the UK

Integralis has announced details of its participation at e-crime Cloud & Virtualisation Security Forum, taking place at the Hilton London Tower Bridge Hotel, London, UK, on Tuesday 14th June 2011.

Garry Sidaway, Director of Security Strategy, Integralis, will address 150 senior decision makers attending the Forum from large international organisations on the challenges of managing a secure cloud environment. Under the presentation title, 'Castles in the Cloud: building a fortress in the virtual world?', Garry will provide practical advice based on real-life scenarios to present attendees with the knowledge required to make strategic decisions about security within their organisations.

He said, "Integralis is well known for providing practical, honest advice based on proven technology and real-life scenarios.  It's my goal to ensure that attendees leave the e-Crime Forum, knowing how to architect security in to their infrastructure rather than 'bolting it' on afterwards, protecting their employees whether they choose to work remotely or not, and do all of this in the light of internal pressure on financial resources and external pressure from the increasingly agile consumer market. "

Garry will be speaking alongside some of the leading security experts in the UK, representing companies such as ING Belgium, Nokia and Lloyds Banking Group. In an evolving technological environment, the e-Crime Cloud and Virtualisation Security Forum is a unique networking event, providing advice, clarity, forward thinking insights, and practical guidance on key strategic and technical issues related to risk mitigation, compliance, security, and information assurance in virtualised, as-a-Service, and cloud computing environments.
